101 Dalmatians is an animated feature film by Disney and is based on the 1956 novel “The One Hundred and One Dalmatians” by Dodie Smith. It was released to theaters on January 25, 1961 to critical acclaim, with some critics stating it was Disney’s best release since Snow White and the Seven Dwarves.
